Where is Army Basic Combat Training?

The Army’s four basic combat training locations are:

1) Fort Benning, Georgia
2) Fort Jackson, South Carolina (gender-integrated)
3) Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri (gender-integrated)
4) Fort Sill, Oklahoma (gender-integrated)

Your BCT location is determined by your path:

Enlisted Members

Your initial training will be followed by additional specialized training at the same installation. Your specialty determines which installation you'll do boot camp at.

Women Recruits

Your training sites will be either Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Sill or Fort Jackson, which have gender-integrated training.

Officer Candidates

You’ll complete your basic training at Fort Benning then graduate directly into Officer Candidate School.
